Blob's Park, as you might have already known, was just recently reopened and had its first Fasching after being remodeled. Stephanie Keilholtz took these fantastic photos that illustrate great the festivities from that Saturday night. Bairisch und Steierisch members Robbie and Rachel Tanner and Bill Keilholtz with wife Stephanie were in attendance that evening. By chance, Bill and Robbie were chosen by Alt Washingtonia as the respective Prince and Princess of this year's Fasching, and all the costumed attendees paraded around the dance floor and bowed to the crowned royalty. A heavily made-up Rachel ended winning the prize for Scariest costume in her leonine guise.
Our group encourages all who can to make the trip to Blob's, as it is a one-of-a-kind feature of the Maryland scene that is not to be missed. We support it wholeheartedly and look forward to the day when we perform there again ~ Webmaster
