"Do you perform only during Oktoberfest Season?":
As you can see in the lists of our past performances, we do German performances pretty much all year long. Not to mention we're not just about this particular kind of show; we do all kinds of dances from different eras and regions, so that keeps us busy all twelve months of the year.
"Do you do private parties?" etc. :
Herb and his group have dabbled in pretty much every kind of entertainment over the years, including private parties. Just email him to ask for details.
And last, but not the very least! - "Where do you get those outfits?" :
German: Well, speaking personally, I like to run up to Oley, PA to Ernst Licht Embroidery and Imports for my needs. They carry a big line of imported German clothing and also have their own line of performance/Oktoberfest clothing (i.e. dirndls, lederhosen, etc.). I, and many others in the group, use Ebay - a lot. If you know what you're looking for, you'll find it there. Also, in the case of member Fran Kilty, the outfits are made by hand using patterns from Burda and other sources.
Ragtime, etc.: Ebay and thrift stores are the best sources for these outfits. Also a good boutique store here and there provides excellent period accessories for these ensembles.
