Mother's Day is a week-long affair for our group, this performance being one of several we did during the second week of May, 2009. We incorporated many summertime dances from our repertoir including some Gay '90s, German, Old West and even one Mexican dance where we hand out flowers to the audience. The particular dances we used were chosen for their colorful patterns and even the music we used (such as "Sweet Violets") was specially selected because it had that special flavor for celebrating the holiday.
This was a very enjoyable show for us and we hope to be invited back again next year.
